LAHORE – The Punjab government has started the registration process for the “Maryam Ki Dastak” Program, which aims to bring essential services directly to people’s doorsteps. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced that the initiative, which promises to increase access and efficiency of government services, will be rolled out gradually to all districts by the end of the year.

Maryam Nawaz asserted that the “Maryam Ki Dastak” program is an important step towards eradicating corruption in government offices by leveraging information technology and artificial intelligence. This initiative not only brings services closer to people but also ensures transparency and efficiency.
Extension Services
Efforts are already underway to increase the number of services offered through this program from the current 10 to 65. These services include issuance of domicile certificate, e-stamping, birth, death and marriage certificates as well as simplified property tax processing.
